Nellore Jodipi

The Nellore Jodipi/Nellore Sheep breed, as the name suggests, belongs to Nellore and Prakasham districts (Andhra Pradesh) and is a Pride Breed of the Telugu States. This Nellore Jodipi's are relatively tall animals with little hair. The ears are long & drooping, and the tail is short and thin. The females are naturally hornless, and the males are horned.

Nellore Jodipi’s are one of the very highly sustaining breeds for the tropical climate and is considered as premium brand for meat lovers.

Macherla Chukkala

MacherlaChukkala Breed, originated in Guntur that evolved in Macherla area is one of the aspired local breeds in South India. It is a dotted sheep with very short tail and dotted strains; with floppy hair and short height which is the combination of two colors white and dotted black.
